A report obtained from Bali on October 21, 2021 mentioned that the number of additional COVID-19 cases was lower than the day before. Based on information from the Bali Covid Handling Task Force, there were 29 additional COVID-19 cases, and the number of recovered patients was higher than the new cases.
In October 2021, the Indonesian government announced that Indonesia had reopened its doors to foreign tourists. However, even though it has decided to reopen its doors, the government continues to implement strict health protocols and other rules for visitors who want to enter Bali. Visitors are required to vaccinate, and quarantine for 5 days. The latest regulations require visitors to quarantine for 5 days from the first time they arrive in Indonesia, where previously the quarantine period was 8 days.

Although the gates of the Indonesian state have been reopened, not all countries are allowed to enter Bali.
