In October 2021, the Indonesian government announced that Indonesia had reopened its doors to foreign tourists. However, even though it has decided to reopen its doors, the government continues to implement strict health protocols and other rules for visitors who want to enter Bali. Visitors are required to vaccinate, and quarantine for 5 days. The latest regulations require visitors to quarantine for 5 days from the first time they arrive in Indonesia, where previously the quarantine period was 8 days.
