On the east side, there is the Bale Kembang building. This building is quite popular because the name “Bale Kembang” is very common to be used as the name of modern buildings and spaces, both in housing and in star hotels.

Bale Kembang itself was originally designed specifically for the residence of members of the royal family in the summer. It is designed to be very beautiful and soothing because it is surrounded by ponds and water lilies.

You should know that this war took place not only in Klungkung but throughout Bali. Like Badung, Margarana, and Kusamba.

The part that might be the best and most unique is that there are several paintings on the roofs of buildings.

The painting contains the Karmapala story, which is traced with amazing Balinese pictures.

Karmapala’s story is not just an ordinary historical story, but there are lessons to be learned from this illustrated story. There are messages of norms and life lessons inscribed on the walls of the Klungkung Palace building complex.

Palace Facilities

One of the palace facilities that you can get when you visit here is that there is a traditional art market that serves various souvenirs.

For your own culinary delights, you can enjoy Nasi Jinggo, which is itself a Balinese food.

Location of Klungkung Palace
