MeVui Vietnam Kitchen is the original branch from Vietnam. SaiGon Mevui was founded in September 2021, SaiGon by MeVui is the second branch of MeVui in Legian.
SaiGon by MeVui was created by a husband and wife from Vietnam whose wife is very good at cooking, her cooking skills were taught by her parents who were in their hometown.
The name SaiGon itself is taken from the name of the economic center city in Vietnam. While the name “MeVui” has two different meanings. The first means “Happy Mom” and the second to show respect to Chef Maria’s mother named Vui.
The Story Behind Me vui Restaurant
Chef Maria after a long journey of experience in vietnam, Maria in 2018 Maria fell in love with Bali on her first trip to Bali with her husband.
Having returned to SaiGon after the trip made Maria realize that I want her children to have the best environment and playground when they grow up.
Maria wants her children to experience the sensations and excitement that she felt during her trip to Bali from surfing, diving, beaches, mountains and culture.
After 1 year of preparation Maria’s family decided to move to Bali in 2019.
Mevui has the motto “Quality is the key to a successful restaurant” from where Maria started to open a typical Vietnamese restaurant in Bali.
